Check out the Friday Oct. 14 issue of the National Post! I teach you how to protect yourself from the intergalactic polymorphous monster that hangs out in the Antarctic. I also fill you in on the history of the monster too. What's that image above all this writin'? Well you'll know if you pick up the Post on Friday.
With the thing coming out soon I figured I'd post some cool thing stuff. First, I saw this poster in Disney World, in the Drive-in restaurant. I think its the coolest poster I've ever seen for the classic The Thing from another world. I wish I could find a decent print of it.
Friday in the National Post you'll be able to find my helpful diagram of how to spot the thing. I'll post a preview image before that but if you don't see anything from me in regards to that, I may no longer be human.
So, this was the third of five assignments in the Kubert Horror Correspondence course. I was a bit busy with other work and stuff so I just got around to finishing this. I've got two more assignments to go, I'm looking forward to the next one since it involves drawing a werewolf, but it also involves inking the page. so it'll take a bit longer to finish than the first pages. This course was a lot of fun and I've been really enjoying playing around with it.
So starting this weekend. Hopefully some point today. I'll start my little Marathon of Skulls (31 skulls 'til halloween part of the COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN) to help get myself in the mood for halloween. I've decorated the place for the spooky season. Be afraid, be very afraid.
