Monday Night Wrestling Doodle: John Cena

Cena was harder to draw than I thought he'd be. I think I got his likeness OK, I even give you a little tiny drawing of him doing part of his "you can't see me" schtick just for fun. Looks like he's on his way to turn heel. I'm really looking forward to that.

Correspondence Course continues!

This is the second last of the five assignments from the Kubert Correspondence Courses. I had to use dip pens and brushes to ink this one. I thought it turned out pretty good, I even enjoyed using the pen and ink. I'm probably going to play around with those tools for a while. Watch out for more drawings done using those things from me in the future. I hope you enjoy the werewolf action going on in this thing, I know I did.

More wrasslers

Well since Monday was WWE nite at Casa Me, I decided to take the opportunity to doodle up some wrestlers which seems to be becoming a tradition. The tradition of drawing wrestlers on monday. Since I already posted the C.M. Punk vs Creature from the Black Lagoon thing last night I figured I'd post these two quick portraits I did during RAW. I hope you enjoy.

Kane's back and now he wears two masks! this is his wrestling mask. I've always liked Masked Kane,
especially when he's a supernatural monster.
My attempt at The Big Show. Meh, I guess it turned out OK.

Creature from the Black Lagoon vs. C.M. Punk, just because

Not sure why I drew this. Just doodling in my sketchbook and this came out. I think it would be a pretty good match.
Gillman wins.

Calabrese art.

First bit of art I do in 2012 and its a parody of the last Calabrese album cover I worked on. Recently the band posted a video where one of the members was turned into a puppet. it made me laugh so I did this to the cover for THEY CALL US DEATH: CALABRESE III. VIDEO LINK.  The painting was originally done by the fantastic Eric Powell . I changed Jimmy Calabrese into a pupet on this and did the lettering. hope you enjoyed it.
