Its amazing. Jason Eisener shows Q. Tarantino and R. Rodriguez how to make an '80s pastiche movie. Its more fun then both halves of Grindhouse (including the trailers.) Its as good as House of the Devil at making you think you've somehow gone back in time to see the movie. I really hope it makes Edgar Wright seriously consider making "Don't!" its just too bad its not going to make tons of money.
Man... that's what I've heard. It's been like pulling hangnails trying to wait for a chance to see it and my one hope of getting a screener was pretty much dashed.
Eisener is such a cool guy, though, and I'm very happy about all the success he's having right now. I had a chance to interview him a month or so ago: http://www.strangekidsclub.com/?p=3937
Gawd, that is so good! And with barely any reference material. You've got one heck of a memory.
ReplyDeleteOh, HELL YEAH!! Have you gotten to see the film, Andrew?
ReplyDeleteLeigh. You konw how monsters just stick in that brain of mine. Im glad you dig it.
ReplyDeleteStrange Kid. Of course I've seen the film why do you think I'm obsessed with The Plague. have you seen it yet?
UGH! No, I'm DYING to see it though, been waiting since August of last year. I'm so jealous of all you Canadians right now. :)
