Halloween Fiends: 30
The day before Halloween is my little sister's birthday. She chose the monster for today, which is awesome because he's one of my favorite monsters too. So if you know my sis, wish her a happy birthday today. Happy Birthday sis!

Halloween Fiends: 12
Based on the Metaluna Mutant from This Island Earth, the Universal picture. The next couple of fiends will probably also be inspired by the Universal Monsters, just 'cus I dig 'em.

Wolverine's been in a fight ...
Couldn't think of anything to draw today so I asked Bobby Calabrese of Calabrese fame what he thought I should draw. He said "Some creature from the swamp! Or one of th X-Men! Or a space duck!" Since I've drawn swamp creatures before I decided against that. I don't remember ever drawing any of the X-Men (which is weird since that used to be my favorite comic book) I decided to draw Wolverine. Wolverine after a pretty ridiculous fight.
I don't understand why people don't draw Wolverine all messed up more often, guy's got a healing factor, he's the one popular Marvel character who can take an insane amount of damage and still be ok with it. So that's what I drew.
Why'd I ask Bobby Calabrese specifically? I've worked with his band off and on since their first Album so I figured one of those Calabrese boys might have some good ideas. Plus having read his blog and watched the video's he's made, he seems like an alternate universe version of me who drinks and plays rock music. So who better to steal, I mean, get suggestions of what I should draw.
I also drew a Space Duck.

A reason for screaming in space...
Just a little drawing of one of my all time favorite space monsters. I'm pretty sure I'm only really a fan of Aliens and beyond, last time I watched Alien I found it kinda boring.

Monstars: ALIEN (1979)
Ah, Alien. One of my favourite movies. Not quite as awesome as The Thing, but still pretty awesome.
This is the last piece of finished art I'm probably going to post for a while since I'll be trying to put most of my artistic effort to doing some new pieces specifically for an little art book I'm trying to throw together for the FanExpo this year. If not an art book, I'll be trying to throw together some new art to sell prints of. A large section of the book taken up with Monstars, the rest will be random pinups and maybe a few comic stories, a mix of things you've seen and things you may not have seen before.
Oh, here's the trailer for Alien in case you've never seen it.
