Suicide Squad vs. The Fly

There's this guy who collects original art based on the old DC comic characters The Suicide Squad, he commissioned me to create this piece of the squad facing off against the fly. The original piece is 11" x 17" on bristol board. I had a lot of fun doing this, all brush, real ink, no digital what so ever. LASERS!

Just felt like drawing this. I don't know who she is. Why she's blinded. Where those guns came from or anything. She just fell out of my pencil when I was doodling at work. I like how it turned out so I figured I'd post it. I hope you like it too.
Speaking of drawing I'm planning on participating in the Countdown to Halloween this year. You will see 31 skulls, through October.  It'll be pretty cool.

The Mask

The second pin-up I did featuring the mask from the 'classic' Canadian 3-D flick "THE MASK" (1961). If you've got 3-D glasses put 'em on to get the full effect of the image. It was fun to do so don't be surprised if I try doing this again in the not too distant future. 3–D is boss.

Since next weekend is the Fan-expo in toronto I've gotten to thinking about putting together and art/comic book for next year so that I can get a table at the con and sell some junk, this piece will probably be in that book. If I can figure out a cheapish way to print a full color art book.

Skull beach stage 1

What you see here is the first stage of a drawing I'm working on for fun. I figured it might be fun to show the stages of the piece as I work on it. This is the first pencilled part of it. I scanned it in and blew it up to the size I figure I'm going to work on it. Next stage you'll see is a tighter large penciled version
